« Space sculpting is the term I started using to describe my work and myself because I think very tri-dimensionally. I used to have a lot of sculptural dreams, these sorts of nebulous undefined objects that are also a synesthetic sensation. I love the essay “Bopera theory” by Amiri Baraka, the cofounder of the Black Arts Movement, where he talks about moving beyond 5 senses… he says add five more and then we’ll be getting somewhere. »
